Rescuing Questions: How a Rabbit Is Saved
Untold numbers of domestic rabbits are abandoned each year, and rescuing them can be a tricky endeavor. Humane traps can be used, but they are not always successful. A better method is to have a small group of people surround a rabbit and corral him, speaking in quiet, soothing tones. Rescuers should be prepared with pens or small cages to put captured rabbits in, as they will likely be difficult to hold.
